Levi ski resort

Skiresort Levi - is popular among ski experts and is the ski centre of Finland. It is located in the north of Finland in Lapland, not far from the Kittilä municipality, where the international airport is.
The Levi Mountain is 531 meters above sea level. The highest vertical drop is 325 meters.
The centre of Levi started to develop in 1990. And now it is a modern well equipped ski resort, there are 45 skiing slopes (15 of which are floodlit), which extends 43.6 km. The longest slope is 2 500 meters. There are 27 skiing lifts in Levi, and also the first and only gondola lifts in Finland.
There are great slopes for children, and family slopes as well. It also has a snowboard park.
Other possible activities in Levi are the 230km of cross-country skiing tracks, snowmobile safaris, dog sledding safaris, fishing, hiking and canoeing.
The range of offered services can attract even those who have been there before. There are various cafes and restaurants, supermarkets, souvenir shops and breweries.
